What is all included in the sign-up cost? |
For $450.00, ILRW installs the service line to the home or meter pit and a meter.
It is the customer's responsibility to have a plumber make the final connection.

Will the cost to sign-up always be the same? |
Each year, the Board of Directors at Iowa Lakes Regional reviews the sign-up costs and adjusts only as needed.

How soon will I get water? |
Once the sign-up form and payment are submitted to our office, your name is placed on the construction list. ILRW will give an approximate timeframe of when installation will begin at the routing appointment.

What is the monthly water bill? |
Your monthly water bill is based on consumption.
On average, each person uses 2,000 gallons in a month.

Is there a minimum amount due each month? |
There is a monthly minimum of $36.50 plus tax due each month. This is for 0 - 2,000 gallons of usage. Therefore, even if there is no water used each month or the water is shut off, the minimum is still due.

Can I pay my bill over the phone or with a credit card? |
ILRW does not accept payments over the phone or credit cards. Acceptable payment methods include: mailing a check or money order; stopping in the office to pay with a check, cash, or money order; Automatic Bank Payment (for radio-read customers only); and Advance Pay.
